HOTEL AND MEAL INFORMATION
The hotel for the Four State Exchange in Tulsa Oklahoma on Sept. 22-24 will be The Renaissance Tulsa Hotel & Convention Center 6808 South 107th East Avenue, Tulsa, OK 74133 918-307-2600 is the direct telephone line
There are rooms with one king or two double beds available for the cost of $103 per night plus taxes.
ROOMS MUST BE RESERVED BY AUGUST 25, 2017 and are on a first-come basis.
REGISTRATION $15 per person
Registration will be in the hotel lobby starting on Friday, September 22 at 3:00 pm. Registration will close at 4:30 pm on Saturday, September 23.
All tickets will be in Registration packets - no tickets will be mailed out to participants.
Friday Night Meet & Greet - Casual attire at the hotel $25 per person
A casual time to meet and talk with your fellow Eastern Star Sisters and Brothers. Light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.
Saturday Outings - Casual attire - slacks/jeans are ok for ladies varies by trip
Three different outings are being offered during the day on Saturday. Various start times but all the trips will have you back to the hotel by 3:00 pm to prepare for the evening event.
Saturday Evening -formal attire $55 per person
Dinner at the Oklahoma Aquarium - transportation will be provided.
Dinner will be provided as follows: salad; rolls; rosemary roasted baron of beef with horseradish sauce and mushroom ragout or pan seared chicken breast with lemon butter herb sauce; roasted potatoes, haricots verts and mini assorted mousse shooters
SPECIAL MEALS such as gluten free, vegetarian, no onion/tomato available - please note on registration
Sunday Morning Breakfast/Devotional - casual/travel attire at the hotel $27 per person Seasonal fresh fruit & berries, scrambled eggs with cheese & salsa, bacon & sausage links, potatoes o'brien, biscuits & white sausage gravy, white & wheat toast with butter, assorted Wildhorse Canyon Farms jams & preserves
Bus Day Trips on Saturday, September 23, 2017
1. Gilcrease Museum
This bus trip includes a stop at "Owen Park" Tulsa's first park along with the oldest surviving home built in 1880. Then to the Gilcrease Museum which holds the world's most comprehensive collection of Art of the American West,as well as collections from Central & South America. The Archival collection includes an original copy of the declaration of Independence. While there we will enjoy a box lunch and the Gilcrease Gardens.
Cost is $40.00 per person includes Lunch and a Bus Pass. A minimum of 32 must attend.
2. Route 66 TourIncludes our very own iconic structure of a "Blue Whale." Then on to Claremore to the Will Rogers Museum. Go back in time and learn about Will Rogers and how he became famous with his speeches and his movies. We will then travel to Ed Galloways Totem Pole Park in Foyil, OK. Enjoy the oldest and largest example of folk art which includes a 94-ft. tall totem pole and an eleven-sided fiddle house, where we will enjoy a picnic lunch and entertainment. Cost is $40.00 per person includes lunch and Bus Pass.
A Minimum of 36 must attend.
3. Pioneer Woman & Tallgrass Prairie - leaving at 7:15 am
Treat yourself to a country style breakfast and a cup of Cowgirl coffee at the Pioneer Woman's Mercantile Store where you can enjoy some shopping as well. Then we will head out to the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve which is the largest protected tallgrass prairie left on earth. Bring your binoculars to watch the Bison in their natural habit roaming on the open prairie.
Cost is $25.00 per person includes Bus Pass. Meal not included. Minimum of 38 must attend.
Daytrips include your transportation bus pass to the Saturday night Banquet. Buses will depart and return to the Renaissance Hotel in Tulsa.
